Established in 1946 as part of the William Penn Pistol League, the nearly 300 shooters within the 10-team traveling league shoots .22 caliber only. The team runs, sponsors, and supports NRA-registered pistol matches throughout the year on both the indoor and outdoor pistol ranges.

This is a great way to learn shoot safely and accurately while honing trigger control, maintenance, and reloading skills. The team is responsible for keeping up and improving both pistol ranges, through work days, weekly maintenance, and matches.

Practice is held every Monday evening 6:30pm – 9:00pm, Sept through mid-April. Team matches take place on Wednesday nights starting at 7:00pm ($5 fee). Team members must belong to the Palmyra Sportsmen's Association.
